Water recycling
The easiest way of reducing the costs of waste water treatment is to prevent waste water. This primarily means optimising rinsing technology (cascade rinsing or high-pressure cleaners, etc.) and recycling slightly contaminated rinse water or treated waste water.
Rinsing water especially demineralised rinsing water - is often less contaminated than mains water. By using physical treatment methods, increasing the salination of waste water is generally avoided these days as far as possible. With modern methods, it is now possible to produce drinking water quality from practically any kind of aqueous solution with more or less effort. Even waste water from municipal or industrial sewage treatment plants is often better suited to recycling than river water. Selecting the most useful currents of water is crucial and the right interpretation of the most effective treatment methods.
